A few days ago, I met a 61‑year‑old man from Northern California at a Späti in Neukölln.
He has lived in Berlin for 25 years and witnessed the Wall in ’83. He had some of the most interesting stories I’d heard, so I recorded part of our conversation.

North of Agadir, on Morocco’s Atlantic coast, lies Taghazout—a small fishing village and surf town.
Days were spent hiking the cliffs to the skatepark at sunset, taking midday dips in the Atlantic and working through every tagine on the menu.
Days here had a way of filling themselves.
